All about me....
I was born in April 1972, in Rochford and
have spent most of my life living in local
areas of
Southend.
I have also spe nt my working life locally,
never having a desire to commute up to
London. When I left school I trained as a
dispensing technician in a local pharmacy in
Eastwood. My training took 3 years and
shortly after qualifying I changed
pharmacies and worked at Bush Chemist
in Southchruch, where I spent a very happy 8
years. Wanting a change in career I
joined KeyMed a local medical
and industrial manufacturing company. I
spent 3 years there, but I missed the
general public too much. Another change was
on the horizon.
I went to see a friend of mine about my
mortgage and mentioned that I thought I
would quite like to do his job, it seemed a
good mix of office work and dealing with
people. Next thing I knew I was interviewed
and offered a job at OFM as a mortgage
advisor.
I have been there for 3 years, I am now
qualified and love my job. Last year I was
within the final 3 women picked for the
Women’s Mortgage Advisor of the Year award.
A proud moment, though next time round I
intend to win!

So out of work when I am not
singing, I love
to horse ride and go once a week. It’s so
different from anything else I do and it
really is my time out. I also love to go the
gym and take part in the classes.
Recently I have become involved in amateur
dramatics something I really enjoyed and
want to get more involved in, in the future.
The only problem I ever have is there are so
many things I love to do in life where do I
fit them all in!
